Ronda Davis joined the Pleasure Club to live out her inner most fantasies.  The one night encounters suit her life perfectly for she isn’t looking for a commitment.  Her latest escapade involves a madcap adventure.  For this fantasy she decides to use the alias of Raquel Dubois as she feels the name projects a higher level of mystery and sex appeal that is lacking from her real name.

Jon Ryan is a Navy SEAL who is used to living his life on the edge.  When he isn’t busy with his job, he works for The Pleasure Club providing erotic dates.  He enjoys combining his real life maneuvers with the fantasy roles his client’s request. His latest mission involves saving “Raquel Dubois”.

The day comes when Ronda’s Pleasure date is to occur.  The only details she is provided is to go on about her day as if nothing is going to happen.  As she goes for her morning jog, she is abducted by two men who take her to an abandoned building.  There she is rescued by her Pleasure Club mercenary.

Her fantasy date is everything she has dreamed about in a man.  Jon radiates the alpha male sex appeal that is a standard requirement for any mercenary.  All too quickly she finds that her dream date is about to end.  There is a selfish side to her that wishes that this dream date could turn into a long time relationship.  The Pleasure Club specializes in answering their clients every wish, could this be one wish that is destined to be answered?

THE PLEASURE CLUB – THE MERCENARY is a high action erotic romance.  Madison Layle demonstrates that she is an author who knows how to add all the perfect ingredients to make an unforgettable romance.  Jon is the type of alpha hero that ever woman dreams would come into their own life.  THE MERCENARY is another great installment in the all-time favorite PLEASURE CLUB series.  Having read several titles in this addicted series, I can highly recommend each one will leave you craving more.

Melanie Brooks had left her life as a dancer in New York to return to her home town of Grady Gulch to care for her mother.  When her mother died, she had planned to sell her home and go back to New York.  Her plans changed when she experienced a health issue that put her in a wheelchair.

Adam Benson had been living with his brother, but when his brother got married he felt like it was time to get a place of his own.  The answer to his dilemma comes in a for rent sign in Melanie Brook’s home.

When Melanie meets Adam she cannot ignore how handsome he is but she is convinced it is useless to develop feelings for her new tenant for she feels she doesn’t want to burden anyone with her health condition.

Adam can see past Melanie’s wheelchair, her beauty takes his breath away and her eyes capture his soul.  Can he restore her faith in herself and convince her that she is still a beautiful and desirable woman?

In the shadows a serial killer watches Melanie.  He is intent of ensuring that she will become his next victim.  Will he succeed in his sinister plan?

COWBOY WITH A CAUSE rivets with a high level of drama.  I always love how a romance is complicated with an element of suspense.  Ms. Cassidy does an excellent job in keeping her readers guessing how the final outcome will end.

Abram came to Heather’s Hollow to hide out from the world.  His experience in the military left him with both physical and mental scars. On one of his rare occasions of coming into town for coffee and a home cooked meal he meets Maggie O’Neal.  Her raven hair and green eyes captures his attention.

Abram learns why Maggie is visiting Heather’s Hollow and reluctantly agrees to show her the road where her grandmother lives.  When he watches her vehicle taillights turn on the road to her grandmothers he figures he will never have the opportunity to see her again.  He doesn’t try to analyze the sense of loss he feels upon knowing this fact.

Maggie’s grandmother is full of old tradition Appalachian customs.  She learns that her grandmother is the local healer of the town folk.  Maggie would love the opportunity to learn some of her grandmother’s healing techniques but knows she must return back to her hometown of Louisville.

When a local neighbor crashes into Maggie’s car she knows that her stay will be extended.  Her granny suggests she send it to the blacksmith to get fixed, but after he looks at the extent of the damage he knows that it is beyond his means to repair.  At the blacksmith’s shop she once again meets Abram and he offers to tow her car to the local dealership to get it fixed.  Maggie agrees to his offer and finds she looks forward to being in such close quarters with Abram.

Maggie’s extended stay in Heather’s Hollow allows her to discover the beauty the mountains hold.  She also finds herself spending more time getting to know Abram.  When the time comes for her to return home will she turn her back on all that she discovered in Heather’s Hollow to return to modern civilization?  Or will the magical mountain air surround her with love and acceptance and beckon her to return to her hometown roots?

IN A SOLDIER’S ARMS is just what this reader was craving to experience.  This heartwarming romance wrapped its way around my heart as it introduced to me unforgettable characters that I felt an immediate connection with.  This is the first book I discovered by Marin Thomas, but I assure you that it will not be my last.  Ms. Thomas’s writing style has captured my attention and I am assured that she will fast become one of my favorite authors.

Author: Sandra Marton

Publisher: Harlequin

Jacob ‘Jake’ Wilde life was changed dramatically when he was injured while serving his country in the Army.  With his military career over he returns home to his family for a visit.  He is unsure which direction his life should take.  His family hopes that they can convince him that their family ranch El Sueno needs him to oversee it and will convince him to stay with them.

At Jake’s welcome home party a lady catches his eye.  He learns from his brothers that her name is Addison McDowell.  She does not seem to be concerned with the eye patch or scars that mar his face.  She openly sends signals of flirtation across the room towards him.

Addison McDowell left her condo in New York to travel to Wilde’s Crossing, Texas.  Through a close friend she had inherited a rundown ranch.  Her intent is to fix up the ranch and then put it on the market to sell; with the money she receives she plans to pay off her mortgage and some of her college tuition.

Addison’s first meeting with Jake is one that is filled with rage.  He feels that his brothers have devised a plan to use Addison and her farm to occupy his time.  He does not wish to be anyone’s charity case and takes out his anger on Addison.

Addison refuses to stand by and listen to Jake’s insults; she leaves the party in haste.  Jake feels guilty of his treatment of Addison.  He decides to follow her to offer her an apology.  Addison leads Jake to her ranch; there the two come to a battle of wills, one that miraculously leads them into each other arms.  The two shares a hot passionate exchange; the encounter confuses both of them as they part.

Is this encounter the start of a relationship destined to be built?  Or was it simply a one night stand that both individuals needed to break the stress both of them were experiencing?

THE WILDE BROTHERS, BOOK 1 – THE DANGEROUS JACOB WILDE is one outstanding book!  This book being the first in the series sets the bar high for the next installment in what is assured to be a highly addictive series.  Sandra Marton has outdone herself in the development of Addison and Jake; these characters are the type that fairy tales revolve around.  I predict this is a series that will fast fly off the book shelves.

Cane Kirk’s life and attitude was changed by the harsh conditions he experienced in Afghanistan.  Not only had the war robbed him of his zealous carefree existence, he also suffered an injury that resulted in him losing his arm.

Bodie Mays had always harbored feelings for Cane Kirk, but the man who returned from war is nothing like the man she loved. Alcohol and mood swings seem to now be his constant companion.  Bodie is the only one who is able to bring Cane back to reality when his temper gets out of control.  She knows that if she doesn’t do something soon to help him get past the downward spiral his life is taking she fears he will end up destroying himself.

Will Cane accept Bodie’s help to conquer the demons that plague his memory?  Will she be the woman to offer him the love and acceptance his soul craves?  Or will he throw away her offer of help and acceptance to live in the dark existence that is filled with pain and loneliness?

WYOMING FIERCE is a wonderful constructed romance novel.  Diana Palmer is an author who I credit for introducing the romance gene to many years ago.  What I find so admirable about this author is she develops strong characters that face some of the most challenging situations.  With her descriptive passages, the reader finds themselves slowly being absorbed in the pages of the book.  For anyone who has never experienced a Diana Palmer novel, know that you have cheated yourself out of one of the best romance writers in existence.  This reader/reviewer is a dedicated fan who cannot say enough positive comments about how impressed she is with Diana Palmer.
